A startup called Normap hired me as a freelancer to create UI designs of their future dashboard web app, called MapDesk. Their customers would rent aerial drone fleets from Normap where each drone could survey construction sites and extract various types of imaging data that were important to Normap’s customers. Once a site has been surveyed by these drones, the drone would then upload the image data to Normap’s servers via an on-board cellular data connection. Normap’s customers could then log in to Normap’s customer website where customers could interact with a web app dashboard to achieve various tasks with the acquired imaging data (ex: run calculations, visualize geo data, etc).
